Productive in Wednesday's loss
Miguel recorded three shots (one on goal) and two crosses (one accurate) in Wednesday's 3-1 loss versus Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Analysis: Miguel made his third consecutive start Wednesday, this time getting more forward and being productive on the attack. His cross in the 42nd minute found Edmilson Junior at the far post, who then proceeded to lay the ball off to Hassan Al-Haydos who scored to cut the deficit to 2-1. Just a few minutes later, Miguel found himself open on the right side of the box and attempted a low-driven shot that ricocheted off the post, inches away from the equalizer just before halftime. It was a nice performance for the 36-year-old in what will likely be his final World Cup appearance.
